Who operates the app
Wanderlink is provided by Ivan Skorikov through Mekong Apps. Contact support@mekongapps.com about privacy or support.
Your collection
Names, notes, contact details, saved home locations, meeting places and selected photos are personal information. Guest collections stay on your device. If you create an account, your email, authentication records, collection and photos you choose to upload are processed by our Convex backend to provide account access and synchronization. Never add information you are not authorized to store.
Contacts and photos
Contacts and photo access are optional. Imported contact information becomes part of your private collection. Photo dates, location metadata and face detection are processed on the device to help you organize memories. The app does not identify people automatically. Selected photos or face crops attached to an account collection may be uploaded when you save them; your whole photo library is not uploaded.
Location and reminders
With permission, the iPhone app uses your location, including background location for arrival reminders. This location processing happens on your phone. Saved home locations you enter are different: they are part of your collection and sync if you use an account. iOS controls permissions and notification delivery. You can disable arrival reminders and revoke location access in iOS Settings.
Purchases
Apple processes native purchases. RevenueCat receives purchase receipts/transaction details, an app user identifier, entitlement status and relevant device/store metadata to validate and restore Pro. We do not receive your payment-card details. Purchase records may be retained for fraud prevention, accounting and legal obligations.
Other services
Convex hosts signed-in account data. Apple provides platform services and payments. RevenueCat validates purchases. External websites you choose to open apply their own privacy policies. We do not sell your collection or use it for advertising tracking.
Retention and your choices
You can edit or delete people in the app. Signed-in users can initiate account deletion from Settings → Account; server data is deleted through the account deletion process. Guest data remains until you remove it or delete the app. Backups and legally required purchase records may persist for a limited operational or legal period. For access, correction, export or deletion assistance, email support@mekongapps.com. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing or complain to a data-protection authority.
Security and international processing
We use platform security and authenticated access controls. No system is perfectly secure. Service providers may process data outside your country under their applicable safeguards. Please avoid storing highly sensitive information in notes.
Children and updates
The service is not intended for children under 13. Contact us if a child has provided personal information. We may update this policy when the product or processing changes; the revision date appears above.
